Application Information/Contacts

Thank you for your interest in the Brigham and Women's Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital Integrated Residency Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Applications are accepted through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service). The requirements for this program can be found on the ERAS web site. For more information regarding the ERAS program, please refer to their web site at: http://www.aamc.org/audienceeras.htm

Please submit at least three letters of recommendation. One letter should be from the dean (or his/her designee) of the medical school, and it should describe the academic record, relative standing in the class, and performance on the clinical services. The selection process focuses on information supplied in the ERAS application, including scholastic accomplishments, transcripts, and letters of recommendation. Registration with the National Resident Matching Program is mandatory. The deadline for ERAS application is November 1; completed applications are considered and invitations to interview will be decided on a rolling basis
beginning mid-October. Selected candidates are invited to interview on December
10, 2010 or January 7, 2011. At our ACGME Site Visit in November 2006, we were approved for an additional resident per year. Thus, starting with the 2008 match and thereafter, we will interview for 11 PGY 1 positions.

Additional information for International Medical Graduates: We do not have a minimum score requirement for USMLE Step 1 and 2, and no time requirements for time between medical school graduation and residency. If you are a match to our program, we will be happy to sponsor all of your visa needs. US experience is not a requirement, but always helpful.
